Julia madness

You always hear how fast babies grow, but I do not think you believe it until you have one. One day they are small and cuddlely and then the next their kicking and swinging their arms. This ladies and gentlemen is our life with Julia. She is growing like crazy and we love and hate it.

Life is going pretty normal now, sure we have a daughter, but we have included her in our everyday activities...she is becoming a Tuzi if you will. Julia has accompanied us to the DI, Wal-Mart, Albertsons, Broulims, and to a hand full of basketball games on campus. She behaved awesome for all of her first adventures and I am sure that she is excited for her first car ride to Utah. Julia is now just beginning to smile a little bit and it is so much fun. She smiles the most in the middle of the night, so it is worth waking up and enjoying that for a bit.

I would like to share my Laman and Lemuel analogy of the Binky. When we read in first Nephi we learn that Nephi "pacifies" Laman and Lemuel on numerous occasions. I never gave this much thought until we had Julia; Julia cries and skrims so we give her the binky she then calms down. However, if that bink falls out she is no longer "pacified and once again becomes fussy. This happens with Laman and Lemuel; they get angry and mean at Nephi for being righteous and good in the sight of everyone. Then Nephi rebukes them, they become repentant, and then "pacified" for a time. Well, Laman and Lemuel spit out their binky and do it all over again which means Nephi has to come back and put it back in. Well as we all know in 2 Nephi they eventually spit out their binkies and the binkies become lost...this of course results in dark skin, the Lamanites and Nephites, and the eventual downfall of a great people.
I hope this has put a new spin on the binky....

As for Suz and I we are both doing great....we are relishing the opportunities of a normal life once again.

 

 

 

 

Here are some pictures of my two girls...if you look closely you may see some similarities... I love the one where their both sleeping. Not only do they look the same, but it fills my little heart to the bursting setting.

Now for Julia and Tyrel...I hoping I can rub off some of my charming personality.

These two pictures are what happens when Julia is hungry and Dad is holding her. If you look closely in one she is totally pinching my face....but this was stinking sweet. Call me the human pacifier...please!
