12?
Well, the latest doctor appointment informed me that my body is getting ready for labor. No painful contractions just yet, but plenty of the braxton hicks ones. Supposedly it's really good to be having these. My doc said it is a good sign that I won't have a long, tedious labor. Let's hope for the best! I had a dream the other night that I was in labor and kept asking Tyrel when the pain was going to come. Before I knew it the doctor said "PUSH" and out slipped baby, pain free! If only, right? However, where would be the challenge in that? Having a delivery that easy would be like a college soccer team playing an AYSO team...boring aside from the fact that you get to see cute little kids doing silly little things. I would like to clear up something from the last post. After reading over the comments that were left, and re-reading over the post, I realized that it sounded like I hated pregnancy and was dreading life. This was not my intention...Although I would rather not be pregnant because I miss being able to randomly jump over things, and run around without pain in my pelvis, I am not dreading my pregnancy. Overall it has been a really good experience. I absolutely love feeling the baby move. It is awesome! And I love that I have not been one to get super sick and be put on bed rest. I am very fortunate, and my sympathy goes out to those who have had it worse than me. You all deserve to be lifted up on bamboo chairs and served grapes on a silver platter! Well, time is short, got to run. 12 days to go...maybe less....maybe more....either way, baby is coming soon!

Your Changing Body
Some of you after reading the title of this post may have been brought back to a time in the 5th grade...The Maturation Program. What a wonderful experience that is for young boys and girls around the world :) However, this post is not about that sort of changing body...this is about my body changing through pregnancy. I've been saying it all along, and I will say it again now. All of the things that you would never want to happen to your body, happen when you are pregnant. Yes, pregnancy is a wonderful thing with a new little child growing inside of you, but let's face it...awkward and uncomfortable happens. Today I found out that pregnancy can even mess a little with your heart. Apparently the acid reflux is causing my heart to beat in a slightly irregular pattern. On Wednesday I was referred by my OB to see an internal medicine doctor today. I spent the last couple of days worrying that my heart was going crazy and that it was going to make labor and delivery more complicated. My OB said I might have tachycardia, which is basically means there are times when my heart takes off and races for no reason at all. Then he threw in there that I would probably have to take beta-blockers, "An easy fix!" He says. As comforting as an "easy fix" is, I don't know any 23 year old girl that wants to be on heart medicine. So, I was a little stressed. However, as I mentioned before, turns out pregnancy can cause this as well. Just one more thing to add to the list of things you would never want to happen that happen during pregnancy. Some other culprits on the list are weight gain, stretch marks, heart burn, and unusual leaking. In order to celebrate this day, I thought I would put up a few pregnancy pictures. I really would rather not do this, but some people have been making requests and I feel it would be nice of me to oblidge. So, here it is...
Taken 11/18/2009 - 5 months and 2 weeks
Taken 12/19/09 - 6 months and 2 weeks
Taken 2/3/10 - 8 months
After posting these, I'm wishing we would have taken more pictures like this. Oh well! At 7 months I was still pretty small. Most of the size came the last couple weeks of January. Baby had a growth spurt I guess. I hope you enjoy these. I did this for our fans! Love you all! Only 2 weeks and 5 days to go!
