Mesa Falls

Tyrel and I got to go to Mesa Falls this last weekend with the Ryan and Amy family. This was a short stop on the way to Island Park where we would stay the night and camp. We had a really good time out there even though Amy will claim, "We just sat around the whole time!" Let me just share a funny moment with you...
We have just pulled up to the campsite. Tyrel and I are sitting in the back of Amy's gas-gussling-9-miles-per-gallon-SUV...
Tyrel and Suzi have just enjoyed the last five minutes of this drive discussing how fun it was going to be to sleep in our new tent on our new air mattress (with automatic pump).
Tyrel turns to Suzi, "So, did you grab the tent from the apartment?"
Suzi, "No, I thought you were going to do that..."
Tyrel, "Nope, I didn't get it."
Suzi, "We are not smart."
So, our new tent is still in mint condition and looks forward to it's chance to shine on Trek in a week. Another classic Tyrel and Suzi "We-aren't-smart" moment.
However, we did not let this get us down. The rest of the weekend was spent roasting hotdogs and "MM's" (incase Malory reads this), talking with Amy by an extinguished fire until 2 AM, bathing in Bug OFF but still getting eaten by mosquitos, off road biking, playing catch with the football (Of course!), playing Mario 3 with Jake, smelling poopy diapers, and finishing Harry Potter 7!...And Amy says we didn't do anything...
So, here are a few pictures to look at. I'd have posted some more but I used that Picasa program and I'm still working on figuring out how to work it. Till next time!

Tyrel is an animal in a cage in this one...a cute animal:)

Whoa an Update

Hey one and all, its us Tuzi finally here to give you a little update and some pics. I (being Tyrel) was looking through the blogs when I noticed that the only one with a recent post was Amy of course. Well I guess I will follow her example and give you all an update.
The last time we updated Suz and I had been married for like a week and a half. Now we are sitting pretty on our second month. As of right now I can tell you all that we love marriage we couldn't picture myself doing anything else. Of course its not always smiles, but when its not we sure work hard to get it back to that point. Suz is working away on the BYU-I grounds, she loves it! It makes me very jealous because I am still wallowing in the mire...that is the new phrase that I have given to my unemployment. Hopefully by weeks end this will all be fine. I can see some brave employer tossing me a rope and pulling me out of my current predicament. I will grasp that rope and let "said employer" take me where ever he wishes for as long as he likes. Suz and I are both playing sports...I know you're all shocked. My Wife is the BYU-I Sports queen playing both Football and Softball. Hopefully she will give write a post about the drama that almost transpired on her football team, it really says a lot for what she can do on the football field. As for Mr. Wallow, I am playing Flag Football. I am on a team with a bunch of "football meatheads"...he I got the ball and scored so I can't complain. It would be really fantastic if you all took work off, spent a lot of money, and came and watched us play...that would a great family sacrafice. Okay thats just a rough draft of our lives up here, but I know you all want to see pics so I'll get to that straight away. More sweet action sports shots coming...well when we get more.

Suzi now can make some killer homemade Honey Wheat Bread...it is so so good. I am such a proud Husband! She has a bunch of other dishes that she makes, but I am going to let her post them and write about them.

This is when Suz and I were in Utah the week before Mothers Day...we went to the Zoo! And yes I am serious taming that wild beast. The Tuzi clan planned for a good 5 hours for a Zoo trip, but in the end we only needed 2.

Suz is now a Witch I just thought you would all like to know that. She is falling in Love with a certain book of Magic...if you look to the right Suz used a "turn to bronze" charm and tamed those two tigers. I was a little hesitant at first. Suz obviously full of confidence. Look at that face.
Suz loved that spell, I mean look at the amazing pictures we got. And for those of you who've been to the Zoo and think you've seen these so called "statues"...I beg you to think again.
