Julia will be making her presence known in nursery the first Sunday in August. There is no doubt in Tuzi's mind that she will love it. Julia is a young girl who would gladly run off with out a second thought about Mom and Dad, and she loves the other kids in our ward. Jules is also developing at an extremely fun pace that is a lot of fun to watch and laugh at. Two highlights from the summer thus far came when we took Julia to the sand dunes and the splash park. At the dunes she loved to lay and roll around in the sand. She must have thought it was a bed. And she just loves the splash park, as you can see from the pictures. Pretty irresistible thing isn't she?
Suzi just finished her first math class towards her math education endorsement. I am fairly certain that Suzi was the #1 student in that class, I am judging this off of our conversations we had after her class and her amazing test scores. Oh, I forgot to mention that this class was Calculus and she had not taken a math class since high school....natural anyone?? Suz is by far the best stay at home mom and wife a guy could ask for. Without fail when I would get home from a hard days everything the apartment would be clean and the atmosphere lovely. Making the rest of the night easier to bear as I stared blankly at the computer screen.
As for me I have just completed back-back-back semesters, with only minor breaks in between, and the last two were difficult with emphasis on the last. In the winter and spring semesters of this year I have delved deep into my history major and studied General Sherman, the Wright Brothers, Ancient Greece and Rome, and the Industrial Age in American history. Now some might say what is so hard about those classes?? To them I say come up here and see for yourself. With all of this being said I am happy to report that I survived! May I add that I took an Exercise Physiology class that is for my PE minor which kicked my butt. My class was full of crazy pre-med crazies, with me and one other girl PE minors and I do not know about the other girl, but I was scratching my head most of the time hoping July 22 came quickly. It did come quickly and now I get seven weeks with no school.
As for sports I had the perfect team to win the championship with, but we could not pull it off...this ticked me off. It almost felt like the 49ers lost to the Packers in the playoffs back in the 90's. Suzi's team did not make it to the ship, but they nearly upset the team that did. Speaking of Suz she won another flag football championship running her total to 345 shirts.
Our summer break is seven weeks long with me working from 7-4 every week day, but trust me this is relaxing because I get to come home and spend time with my girls with nothing getting in the way. For example tomorrow we are going to the zoo! Jules will love it. Suz is grateful to have me around and I do not blame her because I am awesome, but so is she, so that makes us awesome squared and when two awesomes have a baby a Julia is created.
