The Adventures of Food Boy, Pt. 2

Now for the explanation of how I came to be in this movie.

This movie was filmed the Summer of 2007.  Also known as the summer I fell in love with one Mr. Tyrel.  As most of you know, we were counselors for BYU Sports Camps that summer.  One of my favorite counselors that year was Lindsay Bird.  "That name sounds familiar..." you may be thinking.  She is famous.  She is in some LDS movies ("One Good Man" and "Beauty and the Beast" and some others I think).  Well, because of her acting background, she got us in to be extras in this movie.  Ha!  It was a fun day.  The girl sitting next to me and the boy on the other side of me were also counselors. There is one other scene that I'm in, I think.  Tyrel and I just bought the movie on amazon for the high price of $3.66.  It's obviously a really GREAT movie! :)  Anyway, after we watch it I will let you know if I am in any other scenes.  This is so funny.

So yeah, there are the details for those who were wondering.

Back in the Burg

Christmas sure flew by this year.  Tyrel and I were thinking back to when we were kids and how the days before Christmas seemed to last FOREVER!  All we wanted was for Christmas Day to arrive.  We ate chocolates, ripped paper circles off of chains...and still Christmas couldn't come soon enough.  Now I find myself wishing that the days would slow down before Christmas.  I love Christmas Day, don't get me wrong. But I would have to say my favorite thing about Christmas is all the festivities and excitement leading up to it. I used to be one of those people who would start listening to Christmas music the day after Halloween because I felt like it made the feeling of the season last longer.  This year I couldn't even find my Celine Christmas CD... so, the season came and went.  Good news is I still had a great Christmas!  Especially since it was Julia's first Christmas. We were able to spend two and a half weeks in Utah. No work, no school, just play. We visit family and friends, played a lot of Wii, watched TV (we don't have TV in Rexburg, so this is a treat for us), saw David Archuletta w/ Mo-Tab, saw Savior of the World, went to Desert Star, and ate a lot of good food and treats. It was a lot of fun watching Julia open her gifts. She seemed a little overwhelmed in the Salisbury family room when she saw all of her presents, Parker's presents, and Rachel's presents scattered through out the room. So many things to touch and play with.  Of course, if given the choice to play with a cool toy that lights up and makes noises or a small piece of garbage...garbage wins. Funny girl.  Tyrel gave me some super awesome presents this year, and I'm pretty sure he liked what I gave him.  I will have to say the funniest thing he gave me was some Fun Dip candy in my stocking.  I'm pretty sure he bought that knowing it would end up in his mouth....and it did.  Ha! He did get me an awesome new camera though, so now I will post some pictures.

It was a great break as you can see.  However, we are happy to be back in the Burg.  It's snowy and cold, but we love it here.  Plus, now that Julia is back in her own bed she is sleeping like a champ! 12 hours last night.  Booyah!
