To satisfy those feelings of yearning in your heart for our little Julia, here are some recent pictographs of her.
But first I will give you an update. Things at home are good, I think Suzi and I are getting the right amount of sleep so we can still function. There are times that we find ourselves either sleeping or dozing heavily when we are holding Julia, but I would not change that for anything in the world. Julia nurses about every two to three hours, but Suzi loves this time that she gets to spend with her. The time I get to spend with her is very special, its usually just me and her and I can feel a real solid connection forming between the two of us.
Can't help it. I have a very special spot in my heart for my first daughter.
Its amazing the stuff you realize you need when you bring a little life home. Julia is already feeling her dirty clothes sack...yikes, quarters here we come, she needs changing a lot and when we start to put a new diaper on she goes potty in that one so we have to change right after. And of course nothing really fits right now. She is the best and this is an amazing time to grow for Suz and I. One thing that is amazing is the sweet spirit that you can feel in our apartment. Julia brought something with her from heaven that you have to feel to belive. Suz and I are determined to keep that spirit in our apartment for as long as possible and to live the right way, so it stays.
Julia went to the doctors and the lactation specialist. She was a champ at both and performed well under pressure at the lacctation appointment. I think she really enjoyed the car ride, I cannot wait to take her on drives when she is old enough.
My dear sweet Suzi has such a connection with her little girl. She is always trying to express how much she loves her, but never has the words to do so. She is always saying that Julia is perfect and is so so precious. I have a wife that is going to make the best mother.
Last night Suz and I bathed Julia. I will not lie and say that she loved it and was good the whole time. It was still an experience and afterwards she got a lotion rub down from dad. I am assuming this was her favorite thing in the world. She smelt so good.
Last night I read Julia her first book. We read a chapter from Lord of the Rings. All she did while I read was stare at me...this is a moment I will not soon forget.

SHe is absolutely precious! She looks a lot like her mom and dad...which is to be expected I guess. :) But really I can see both you and Tyrel in her. So cute!!

Ok all three of you look exactly alike! It's crazy! She is beautiful, I wish we were close enough to come visit! Seriously, it's sad! Will you be in Utah in June at all!? We are going to be there for around 2-3 weeks!
Oh my goodness. She is just so precious. In some pictures she looks just like Suzi and sometimes she just looks like a really perfect mix between the two of you. That is how I feel about David too (although most agree he looks just like Bri) What a special sweetheart! Congrats to a perfectly healthy daughter.
I'm thinking a care package of hair bows, and cutesy girl things is definately in the works!!!

When you say you sleep when you hold her I can relate there is something about holding a baby that makes you sleepy. Ty you're going to be a awesome dad. There's something about those daughters, kind of makes you feel a little gitty. I am proud of you Dad

I think she looks like suzi when her eyes are open, but when her eyes are closed she looks like tyrel did when he was a baby.
